Terms and Conditions
1. This promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by Gods of Football Pty Ltd (ABN 30 132 096 309) 51 Stanley Street, East Sydney NSW 2010 (“Promoter”).
2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
3. Entry is only open to permanent residents of Australia. Directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers, agencies and companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Entrants who are under the age of 18 years old must obtain their parent’s consent before entering.
4. The promotion commences at 00:00 on 21 August 2008 and concludes 23 September 2008 at 14:59. (Promotional Period). To be a valid entry, all of the necessary information must be included with an entry and the entry must be received by the Promoter during the Promotional Period. All times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time.
5. To enter the promotion Eligible Entrants must during the Promotional Period:
(a) Visit www.godsoffootball.com.au during the Promotional Period and vote for the Sexiest Man in Aussie Rules. Entrants will be taken to a competition entry page and will need to enter their contact details at this page to complete their entry into the relevant weekly and major prize draw.
6. Prize Draws will take place according to the following schedule. All entries will be entered into the relevant weekly draw and the final prize draw

7. All draws will take place at 5th Finger Pty Ltd, Level 7, Tower Building, Australia Square, 264 George St, Sydney NSW 2000. The winner will be contacted on the telephone number entered into the online entry form. The prize winner will be asked to confirm their full name and address so that the prize can be awarded. The winner will also receive notification in writing and the winners’ names will be published in The Australian according to clause #6.
8. The Weekly Prize winner will be awarded the following prize: 1 x Van Heusen 7 Underwear Day Pack, 1 x Living Nature gift pack, 1 x Sony Ericsson C902 mobile phone, and 1 year’s supply of adidas Action 3 Antiperspirant Deodorant. Prize winners from NSW and the Act will also receive 2 x tickets to the Sexiest Man in Aussie Rules: Search for the Gods of Football announcement party in Sydney valued at $500 including GST. The party will take place on Thursday 25 September 2008. The total value of the Minor Weekly Prize is $1,500 including GST for residents all states and territories except NSW and the ACT. The total weekly prize pool value for residents of NSW and the ACT is $2000 including GST.
9. The Major Prize winner will win 1 x Van Heusen Wardrobe including 1 x suit, 2 x shirts, 5 x underwear, 1 x year’s supply of Living Nature product, 1 x Sony Ericsson C902 mobile phone and blue tooth watch and 1 x adidas Action 3 deodorant and beauty gift pack. Prize winners from NSW and the ACT will also win 2 x tickets to the Sexiest Man in Aussie Rules: Search for the Gods of Football announcement party in Sydney valued at $500 including GST. The party will take place on Thursday 25 September 2008. The total Major Prize pool value is $3,500 including GST for residents of all states and territories except NSW and ACT. The total Major Prize pool value for residents of NSW and the ACT is $4,000 including GST.
10. The total Prize Pool value for residents of NSW and the ACT is $12,000 including GST. The total Prize Pool value for all other states and territories is $9,500 including GST.
11. The promoter shall conduct such further draws as may be deemed necessary at 5th Finger Pty Ltd, Level 7, Tower Building, Australia Square, 264 George St, Sydney NSW 2000 on 6 January 2009 at 12:00 (AEST) to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Winners will be notified in writing within two days of the draw and winners’ names will be published in The Australian on 20 January 2009.
12. The prize must be taken as offered. The prizes, or any unused portion of the prizes, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prizes cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer. The prizes are valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prize winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to the winner in the form of a voucher, redemption of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies accept no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process including but not limited to tampering by way of use of techniques designed to avoid the payment of SMS call costs. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for entries not received by the Promoter. Entries will be deemed void if incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, stolen, forged or mutilated in any way.
15. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. All prizes are valued at their RRP as at the time of printing. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variations in prize values
16. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if any prize (or any part of a prize) is unavailable for any reason.
17. If for any reason the conduct or operation of the Competition is interfered with or disrupted in any way (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend or recommence the Competition, subject to the approval of the authorities that have issued permits for its conduct.
18. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for: (i) any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication including any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter or any entrant whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, or otherwise, (ii) any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications; (iii) any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition; (iv) any incorrect or incomplete information which may be communicated in the course of the administering this Competition (whether as a result of one of the foregoing causes or otherwise).
19. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (including but n1ot limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the promotion or any prize.
20. If a winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner subject to the prior written consent of the winner’s parent or legal guardian. The Promoter may make such inquiries as it deems necessary to satisfy itself that such consent has been obtained. Prize winners under the age of 18 will be ineligible to attend the Gods of Football announcement party. An eligible prize winner under the age of 18 may transfer this component of the prize to a family member aged 18 years or above.
21. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for, and the entrant releases the Promoter from responsibility for, any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, claim, damage or injury to person or property (including computer systems and servers) as a result of the entrant’s participation in this promotion or the conduct of the promotion generally or as a direct or indirect result of an entrant’s error, any technical problem of any kind including communications or network failure, unauthorised access to, transferring or theft of data, whether caused by the entrant or associated with the equipment or programming used in the conduct of this promotion. If, because of any such problem, this promotion is not able to be conducted as planned and/or the promotion’s administration, security, fairness or integrity are compromised or affected, the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant Department) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or disqualify any entrant involved in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion in any way.
22. Details from all entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for publicity purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described. Entrants may access and/or change their data by following the procedures in the Promoter’s privacy policy which is available at www.godsoffootball.com.au
